Who are we?
The Maison de Couture is a fashion design school located in Brussels, specializing in the creation of evening and wedding wear. We offer courses in Fashion design, sewing, patternmaking, and fashion illustration.
Our courses are open to students enrolled in our degree programs, as well as to anyone interested in taking “à la carte”.

Content
Construction of the skirt’s base and its main modifications (flares, pleats, gussets, etc.).
Construction of the bodice base and its main modifications (flaring, repositioning of darts, etc.).

Workshop: “Fundamentals of Patternmaking: Skirts & Blouses”
Want to (re)discover the essentials of patternmaking? This intensive workshop guides you step by step through designing, modifying, and customizing your skirt and bodice patterns—perfect for brushing up on your skills before your second year of the degree program or for giving your personal projects a boost.
What You’ll Learn

Practical information
Cutting paper is available on site.
Please bring:
Aristo set square, paper scissors, pencils, eraser, tape, ruler, a notebook.
Schedule:
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a one-hour break between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Price: 600 euros.
Registrations
Registration: To reserve a spot, please transfer a deposit of 150 euros to the account of La Maison de Couture Sprl: ING: 363-0681393-08 – IBAN: BE63363068139308 – BIC: BBRUBEBB. The class is confirmed with a minimum of 3 participants. If fewer than 3 participants register, the deposit will be refunded in full by the scheduled start date of the class. The balance must be paid in cash or by bank transfer before the class begins.
