Introduction

About us

La Maison de Couture is a Brussels-based fashion design and couture school dedicated to fashion and haute couture enthusiasts.
Whether you’re a beginner or already familiar with couture techniques, our ambition is to offer you a demanding, professional and creative learning environment.
We value quality fabrics and traditional know-how, and train our students to design exceptional garments – from daywear to formalwear.

Haute Couture represents the highest expression of craftsmanship in fashion. In Brussels, our private school offers Haute Couture Training for those who wish to attain a rare level of expertise, master precious techniques and create exceptional garments.
This unique program combines rigor, creativity and precision, in an inspiring professional setting.

A school specializing in high-end sewing techniques

Our school’s mission is to pass on the authentic methods used in luxury couture workshops: meticulous handwork, impeccable finishing, use of noble fabrics and construction of made-to-measure pieces.
Students evolve in a calm, structured environment, where every technical gesture is explained, practiced and perfected until mastered.

A program designed to develop real expertise

The Haute Couture program is designed for students who have already acquired a solid grounding in sewing and pattern-making. It aims to take them to the next level, where precision and beauty of gesture take precedence over speed.

Personalized support

One of the pillars of our training program is individual follow-up. Each student receives technical corrections adapted to his or her level, and progresses at his or her own pace. The aim is to guarantee solid, lasting and professional learning.

Admission is based on a personal interview. This interview assesses :

  • basic sewing skills,
  • Patternmaking level,
  • motivation,
  • the ability to follow a demanding program.

This program is designed for fashion design students, experienced seamstresses, people undergoing retraining or anyone wishing to reach a very high technical level.
