Who are we?
La Maison de Couture is a Brussels-based fashion design school specializing in eveningwear and bridal wear. We offer training in Fashion design, sewing, Patternmaking and fashion drawing.
Our courses are open to students enrolled in our degree programs, as well as to anyone wishing to take “à la carte” courses.
We have developed a unique learning method, combining the complete realization of a model (cutting, assembly, finishing) with technical exercises, enabling efficient and structured progress.
Beginner level (1st level)
This level is for people with no sewingexperience or only a few basics.
The aim is to learn how to sew simple garments thanks to a structured program covering the essential techniques:
✔ Models studied : skirts, dresses, simple blouses, knitwear
✔ Fabrics used : cotton, wool and other easy-to-work fabrics
✔ Techniques taught : necklines, armholes, closures, hems, pockets, etc.
All models are made in size 38 with fabrics supplied by the school, guaranteeing the quality and accuracy of the patterns.
By the end of this level, you’ll be able to sew simple garments .
Intermediate level (2nd level)
This program is designed for people who have already made garments and want to improve the quality of their execution and finishing.
✔ Models studied: pants, lace, shirts, evening dresses
✔ Techniques deepened: more elaborate finishes, work on specific materials
✔ Conditions: models made in size 38 with fabrics supplied by the school.
This level enables you to perfect your sewing skills while developing greater autonomy.
Advanced level (3rd level)
This program is designed for people who have a good command of sewing and wish to specialize in :
✔ Haute Couture
✔ Evening and wedding wear
✔ Jacket making.

✔ La Maison de Couture se réserve le droit d’annuler un cours en cas de participation insuffisante (notification au plus tard 3 jours avant le début du cours)
Cours débutant : tous les mercredis de 14h à 18h.
Cours intermédiaire : tous les jeudis de 14h à 18h.
Cours avancé : tous les jeudis de 10h à 18h.
