During my visit to Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2025, I was amazed by the boldness and diversity of bridal trends that are redefining wedding codes. This edition, the largest to date with almost 450 international brands, showcased creations combining tradition and modernity, reflecting couples’ growing desire to express their individuality.
Wedding dresses: between romance and modernity
The catwalks celebrated a variety of silhouettes, from voluminous gowns to airy drapes inspired by ancient Greece. Details such as majestic capes, dramatic veils and puffed sleeves brought a theatrical touch to the outfits. Designers such as Yolancris and Vivienne Westwood presented models with structured corsets and sheer fabrics adorned with silk flowers, creating an effect of lightness and sophistication.
Bold colors and accessories
While white remains a sure bet, dresses in pastel, blush, sky-blue and even mocha moss hues caused a sensation.
